What’s your position at MemberSuite? What team are you a part of?
I'm a part of the Marketing team. As the Marketing Manager, I do a little bit of everything, including website management, email marketing, social media, SEO, paid ads, event coordination, etc.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica. I came to Atlanta in 2010 to get my Master of Science degree in Marketing at Georgia State University. Even though I was planning to only stay for a year after graduation, I met my now husband at GSU during one of my marketing courses. So… 4.5 years of marriage later, Georgia is my home.
How did you get into Marketing? What’s your background?
When I graduated high school I wasn’t sure what I wanted to study, but I liked math, so I decided to major in Finance at the University of Florida. However, during my last year of undergrad, I realized I didn’t have the passion for bonds and stocks that my classmates had. After graduation, I went back to Costa Rica and found a job as a Marketing Assistant for a bank - and I loved it! That’s when I decided I needed a MS in Marketing.
Once I got my master’s degree, I got a job as a Digital Marketing Specialist for an agency. As the years went by, this role became more and more specialized on Search Engine Optimization (SEO). After realizing how much I missed corporate marketing and wearing multiple hats, I came across MemberSuite’s Marketing Manager opportunity - best decision ever!
What should we know about you?
I’m a very career driven person, but I also enjoy dancing, laughing, having fun, and spending time with friends, family and my furry bundle of joy (Mila - Boston Terrier).
What is one of your hobbies?
I’ve been doing wedding coordination for three years. Long story short, after I got married, I couldn’t let go of the wedding world, so I started blogging about my experience, and it slowly evolved into actually coordinating weddings.
What is the best part of working at MS?
For me the best parts of working here are:
